Printed Matter presents the third annual LA Art Book Fair, from January 29 through February 1, 2015, at the Geffen Contemporary At MOCA Downtown LA.

Free and open to the public, Printed Matter's LA Art Book Fair is a unique event for artists' books, catalogs, monographs, periodicals, and zines presented by more than 250 presses, antiquarians, artists, and independent publishers from over 20 countries.

The LA Art Book Fair is the companion fair to the NY Art Book Fair, held every fall in New York City. Over 35,000 artists, book buyers, collectors, dealers, curators, independent publishers and other enthusiasts attended the NY Art book Fair in 2014.

The LA ART BOOK FAIR PREVIEW 
Join us on Thursday, January 29, from 6 to 9pm, at the Greffen Contemporary for a three-hour opening night preview, with special musical performances by NO AGE and PRINCE RAMA.

Entry to the Preview is 10$, proceeds going to support LAABF15. The first 2,000 visitors to pre-pay online or to pay at the door (while supplies last) will receive a Ticket Edition by artist Edie Fake. Tickets available here.

NEW EDITIONS 

Allen Ruppersberg's TOO MANY BOOKS is a 4.5 ft photo block mounted on MDF featuring a color image (from 1972) of the artist standing beside a towering stack of books. Cali Thornhill Dewitt's Adult Books, 2015 features a black and white vinyl work on corrugated plastic. Edie Fake presents a new 3-color screenprint, Passageway (Black Lives Matter), which also serves as a Ticket Edition to the opening Preview.

FDCINC and its affiliates welcomes you to a new year. For the past year (2014) we been working to accommodate and support the arts. Developing a new web tree lined "surface" and mastering external communications as part. While performing every day tasks such as the Anonymous Star Project Space dated back in 2009. Upgrading follows and a new online store opened its doors for more than a year, offering titles worldwide and an email marketing that informed more than 22.000 people.

While the total campaign out reached more than 900.000 people in case. In the upcoming year we are looking forward to reach even more of you and share interesting stories with us.
