                                                                BE THERE!

Transparencies by Iñaki Bonillas

Inaki Bonillas

Bonillas is concentrated on rereading conceptual art as well as the origins of photography, he studies the notions of trace and imprint by means of photographic prints made on paper of varying types and degrees of sensitivity. The unfolding of photography, as well as reflective exercises regarding light and time are elements that appear as recurrent patterns in Bonillas work. These along with an aesthetic archive has resulted in pieces of personal an introspective content.
The artist participated in “Utopia Station,” curated by Molly Nesbit, Hans-Ulrich Obrist and Rirkrit Tiravanija for the 2003 Venice Biennale.
